The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has received preliminary environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for its ambitious Ramagundam Coal Mine Project. Coal output will primarily supply NTPC Ramagundam and other industries, marking a milestone in SCCL’s history.

NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana STPS have launched a four-day training programme for FT/MGR staff to improve operational efficiency and safety. The initiative focuses on skill development and knowledge sharing among operating personnel and retired Railways staff.

The meeting was conducted under the leadership of NTPC (R&T) Executive Director Chandan Kumar Samanta and attended by Anirban Kumar Vishwas, Deputy Director (Implementation), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

The core aim of GEM was to empower young girls, particularly from underserved communities by giving them access to opportunities, guidance and holistic development.

This mock exercise is conducted every year. It is done specifically to provide startup supply to NTPC Ramagundam Generating Station via HVDC Bhadravati - Ramagundam Inter Regional link in coordination with PGCIL, TGTRANSCO, and NTPC Ramagundam.

Delivering the keynote address at Solar Trailblazers conference and awards, Ranjan Pandu talked about the NTPC Ramagundam 100 (MW) floating Solar Plant.

He also emphasised that works on the 2,400 MW NTPC Ramagundam Phase II thermal power station should be completed without further delay.

Celebrations started with a morning walk from the main shopping complex to the administration building in NTPC township.

The floating plant will be established on the waters of NTPC’s reservoir where the 100 MW plant exists.
