Hyderabad: For designing an indigenous Armoured Tracked Repair Vehicle, the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, and Ordnance Factory, Medak, signed an Academic and Technical Linkage agreement here on Saturday.
According to this agreement, MCEME and the Ordnance Design Centre at Ordnance Factory will work together on indigenisation of armoured tracked vehicles, including manufacturing of components, training of personnel, in addition to finding alternate solutions in engineering and technology of those vehicles.
Lieutenant General TSA Narayanan, Commandant MCEME and Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME, Major General JS Sidana, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, Brigadier T Srinivasa Rao, Dean FEME and members of MCEME along with Alok Prasad, General Manager, Ordnance Factory Medak, Anurag Sharma, Director, Ordnance Design Centre and Vaikunth Rao, Deputy Director, Ordnance Factory, Medak, were present during the event.
