Medak collector suspends three employees of PHC

Collector Rahul Raj made a surprise visit to the PHC and found three employees absent from duties, but they had signed in the attendance registrar.

Medak: Collector Rahul Raj suspended three employees of the primary health centre (PHC) in Kowdipally on Tuesday.

Following complaints, the Collector made a surprise visit to the PHC and found three employees Ahmad Shakeel, Radhakrishna, and Ramesh absent from duties, but they had signed in the attendance registrar.

After the preliminary inquiry, Rahul Raj directed the district medical and health officer (DMHO) Dr Sriram to suspend them from duties with immediate effect.

Raj also served notices on the health officer at the hospital for being negligent in duties.
