Medak: A 35-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances on the outskirts of Chinna Shankarampet Mandal headquarters on Saturday.
The victim, identified as Potharaju Lakshman of Chinna Shankarampet, left his home on Friday evening. He reportedly informed the family members that he was going to Chandapur to attend the birthday party of his friend.
However, he was found dead on the outskirts of the village on Saturday morning. A pesticide bottle was also found close to his body. Meanwhile, the family members alleged that some persons might have killed him, and trying to portray it as a suicide.
SI Ramana visited the crime scene to take stock of the situation. A case was registered and the body was taken to Government Hospital Medak for postmortem. The investigation is on.
