Pollution department officials are collecting the samples from Ekka Cheruvu at Atchampet village of Medak district on Sunday
Medak: Pollution Control Department officials have collected the samples from the Ekka Cheruvu located close to Jamuna Hatcheries in Atchampet village of Masaipet Mandal.
Since there were allegations of Jamuna Hatcheries dumping the dead poultry birds in the tank located in Survey Number 97, Collector Medak S Harish has instructed the Pollution Control Board to test the water of Ekka Cheruvu, to find out the truth.
Speaking to Telangana Today, K Ravi Kumar, Environmental Engineer at Pollution Control Board office located at RC Puram in Sangareddy district, said that he has deputed a team from his office to collect the samples from the water body. The water samples were sent to the lab for testing. He said that they would get the results in three to four days.
Land survey on: Meanwhile, the survey of lands belonging to Jamuna Hatcheries, owned by family members of Huzurabad BJP MLA Eatala Rajendar, is still under way in the Atchampet and Hakimpet villages of Masaipet. Collector Harish said that the survey will be completed in three to four days.
