Two persons died and three others sustained serious injuries in two different accidents on NH-161 at Alladurgam and Pedda Shankarampet on Wednesday
Medak: Two persons died and three others sustained serious injuries in two different accidents on NH-161 on Wednesday.
A man, who lost control of his bike, hit a lorry going in the same direction on the highway at Alladurgam. While his wife Savitha, who was pillion riding, died on the spot, the man Anjaiah and his son Charan sustained serious injuries. The family hailed from Gandhari in Kamareddy district and they were heading to Hyderabad after participating in the funeral of a close relative.
In another incident, a bike rider hit a person near the traffic island at Malkapur cross road in Pedda Shankarampet. While the rider Megavath Ramesh (46) died on the spot, another person Suresh sustained serious injuries.
