Medak: The sighting of two leopards together on a hillock sparked panic among villagers at Gundreddipally in Toopran mandal on Monday. Passersby travelling along the Toopran to Malakpur road spotted the animals and captured the visuals on their smartphones.
The two leopards were seen sitting on the hillock, and the videos, later shared on social media, went viral within a short time. Alarmed by the development, farmers urged forest officials to capture the leopards and release them into deep forest areas.
Meanwhile, forest officials advised farmers and cattle herders not to enter forest areas alone and also cautioned people against moving alone at night.
