Medak youth arrested for stealing Rs 52.5 lakh to fund wedding

Hyderabad: This electrician from Medak was desperate to raise money for his marriage. And when all right ways of having money to meet the wedding expenditure went in vain, he decided to take to crime.
A Anand from Medak district who worked as an electrician targeted Bhavani Shankar, a businessman in Kompally, broke into his home and decamped with cash of Rs 52.50 lakh.
Following a complaint from the businessman, the Petbasheerabad police registered a case and took up invitation during the course of which, they narrowed down on Anand. The suspect was arrested by the police on Tuesday and the police could recover Rs 43 lakh of the stolen Rs 52.50 lakh.
