Medals for govt officials announced in Telangana
One police constable got Telangana State Police Shourya Pathakam, while eight bagged Telangana State Police Mahonnatha Seva Pathakam
Hyderabad: The State government on Wednesday announced medals for officials and personnel working in the Police, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Vigilance and Enforcement (V&E) department, Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services department, and Telangana Special Protection Force on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day.
Gajwel Assistant Commissioner of Police Palakuri Narayana and constable Y Ram Reddy, who is posted in Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, were awarded the Mukhyamantri Sarvonnatta Police Pathakam.
One police constable got Telangana State Police Shourya Pathakam, while eight bagged Telangana State Police Mahonnatha Seva Pathakam and 92 got Telangana State Police Uttama Seva Pathakam. Besides, 45 personnel bagged Telangana State Police Katina Seva Pathakam and 464 received Telangana State Police Seva Pathakam.
Four police personnel working in ACB got Uttama Seva Pathakam and five received Seva Pathakam. Two personnel working in V&E wing got Uttama Seva Pathakam and five bagged Seva Pathakam.
Seventeen personnel in Telangana State Disaster Response and Fire Services department and 18 in Telangana Special Protection Force also got medals.
Constable Ram Reddy played a crucial role in establishing Telangana State and police station level social media and public interface platforms to serve people better. Since 2014, he is rendering services at IT Cell Hyderabad and helped establish video enhancement cell, social media cell, citizen feedback center.
He played a vital role in designing part of all the applications developed by Telangana police.
