Mulugu: Medaram Sammakka-Sarakka shrine priest Siddaboina Samma Rao’s wife Srujana (25) succumbed to Covid-19 while undergoing treatment at the government hospital here on Wednesday.

According to his relatives, Srujana tested positive for Covid-19 ten days ago. She had been in home quarantine since then. Meanwhile, her condition deteriorated on Tuesday prompting the family members to shift her to the hospital in Mulugu by ambulance. She died in the early hours of Wednesday. The couple has a daughter and a son.
