Medical camp organized for dwellers of Maoist-affected villages in Mancherial

A team of 11 specialist doctors from various private hospitals in Mancherial and local government hospitals provided services at the camp, offering free medication to the patients. Around 800 residents from villages including Kallampalli, Rajaram, Sumuputam, Dasnapur, Gorlapalli, Kotha Colony, Jilleda, Jakkepalli, Buyyaram, Racharla, Mulkalapet, Mukkidigudem, Sithara, Chamanapalli, Baddampalli, Bammena, Oddugudem, Nagaram, Kethanapalli, and Kalmalapet attended the camp.

Mancherial: Police organized a health camp for the convenience of people belonging to Maoist-affected villages at Dasnapur village in Vemanapalli mandal on Wednesday. Ramagundam Commissioner of Police M Srinivasulu was the chief guest of the event.

A team of 11 various specialist doctors from different private hospitals of Mancherial town and local government hospitals rendered services at the camp, while medicines were given to the patients for free. Around 800 dwellers of Kallampalli, Rajaram, Sumuputam, Dasnapur, Gorlapalli, Kotha Colony, Jilleda, Jakkepalli, Buyyaram, Racharla, Mulkalapet, Mukkidigudem, Sithara, Chamanapalli, Baddampalli, Bammena, Oddugudem, Nagaram, Kethanapalli and Kalmalapet villages.


Addressing the dwellers, Srinivasulu said that the police department was at the forefront in serving the needy. He asked them not to get attracted to outdated ideologies of the banned Maoists. He told them not to extend cooperation to the outlawed extremists. He advised them to provide education to their children. He urged them to share information about strangers in their villages.

He then handed over blankets to elderly persons and sports kits to youngsters at the end. He was all praise for Chennur Rural police for conducting the event.

DCP (Admin) C Raju, Jaipur ACP Venkateshwarlu, Chennur Rural Inspector Sudhakar, Chennur town Inspector Ravinder, Neelwai Sub-Inspector Shyam Patel, Kotapalli SI Rajender and Jaipur SI Sridhar were present.
