Medicover hosts women bike rally for cancer awareness
Medicover Cancer Institute organised an all-women bike rally at Hitec City to promote cancer awareness and early screening. About 100 women participated, while doctors highlighted the role of advanced treatment and timely diagnosis in improving survival rates

Hyderabad: Medicover Cancer Institute organised an all-women bike rally, ‘Don’t Fear Cancer; With Awareness, Victory is Ours’, on Sunday at Hitec City, aimed at spreading awareness about cancer prevention and the critical importance of early screening.
A total of 100 women riders participated in the rally, demonstrating their enthusiasm and commitment to promoting health consciousness among women.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ravi Chandra, senior robotic surgical oncologist from the hospital, said there is no need for people to fear cancer treatment.
“Through advanced robotic surgery, patients experience minimal pain and faster recovery. Early screening allows us to successfully save 70 per cent of patients with ease.”
T Sai Manohar, DCP, Madhapur Traffic, Mitali Agrawal (Mrs India Global Ambassador), senior medical oncologist Dr Venugopal, Dr Prashanth Reddy, radiation oncologist, and other senior oncologists were present.
