Hyderabad: Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, CV Anand asked the police personnel to be on alert and thwart any attempt to instigate communal trouble in the city by vested interest.
At a meeting which was attended by ACP and above rank officers on Wednesday, he instructed the officials to keep surveillance on communal situations and tactfully deal with them. “There is a need to increase surveillance on various political and communal groups in view of prevailing situations. Officers should be prepared and react immediately to prevent trouble,” Anand said.
The meeting also discussed on ensuring effective policing in the city and assign responsibilities to the ground level officers. During the meeting, bandobast for the upcoming Assembly meeting and festivals was also discussed.
