Mega blood donation camp for Thalassemia patients held in Hyderabad
A total of 632 volunteers and members of the Insaniyat Foundation turned-up and donated blood for the cause. The units of blood collected through the camp will be exclusively available for children with Thalassemia, who are supported by Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS) and end-stage cancer patients.

Hyderabad: In a noble gesture, the All India Payam e Insaniyat Foundation organized mega voluntary Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia patients, especially children at Malakpet on Monday.
A total of 632 volunteers and members of the Insaniyat Foundation turned-up and donated blood for the cause. The units of blood collected through the camp will be exclusively available for children with Thalassemia, who are supported by Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society (TSCS) and end-stage cancer patients.
TSCS president Dr. Chandrakant Agarwal, M A Aleem Baig, Joint Secretary, TSCS, Malakpet MLA Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala and others were present.
Speaking about the blood donation camp Abu Aimal said “TSCS has been at the forefront in conducting mega blood donation camps in Hyderabad. We thank all the guests and donors who have extended their support to us and also promised to promote awareness of Thalassemia and its eradication”.
