Government teacher dies under suspicious circumstances in Karimnagar

A 51-year-old government school teacher was found dead at her residence in Karimnagar on Friday after reportedly inflicting injuries on herself with an axe.

Karimnagar : A government teacher, Sudha (51), was found dead under suspicious circumstances at her home in Vavilalapally here on Friday.

According to family members, Sudha, who was working in Ramadugu government school, had been disturbed mentally. As her health deteriorated further, she injured herself with an axe in the morning. She sustained severe injuries on her head and died on the spot.

The deceased was staying with her father after getting a divorce from her husband. Sudha, who was reportedly suffering from mental health problems, had been undergoing treatment. Two days ago, she went to Hyderabad for treatment, it is learnt.

On receiving information about the incident, the police rushed to the spot and began an investigation after registering a case.
