MGIT student felicitated for her Kuchipudi dance performances

She participated in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi, and was one of the eight participants from Telangana

Hyderabad: Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) third year student and NSS volunteer, Nehasree was felicitated by President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Telangana Governor on different occasions for her Kuchipudi dance performances at their official residences.

Earlier, she participated in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26, and was one of the eight participants from Telangana and the only volunteer representing JNTU-Hyderabad, the MGIT said on Wednesday.

After being selected from a large pool of competitors, she underwent training in New Delhi for the participation.

Principal Prof G Chandra Mohan Reddy, Vice Principal Prof K Sudhakar Reddy, ECE department head Prof SP Singh, and NSS programme officer G Bal Reddy congratulated and felicitated Nehasree.
