Mancherial: A migrant female tiger continued to roam in the forests of Kannala village in Bellampalli for the third day on Monday.
Forest officials said that it was relishing a wild boar kill hunted in the forests on Sunday. Five CCTV camera traps were installed to trail the tiger.
Awareness was raised over the movement of the tiger among the villagers. Steps were taken to prevent usage of a road leading to the forests, the official explained.
An adult tiger migrated to the district from Tiryani of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district was moving in the forests of Bellampalli forests in search of territory for the last few days, triggering panic among villagers.
A private school, located on the peripherals of the coal belt town was forced to declare a holiday on Saturday.
