Migrant worker stabbed to death on Narsapur outskirts

Farooq Ansari, a 34-year-old migrant worker, was stabbed to death on Medak outskirts. Police found nine stab wounds and are investigating a possible motive linked to a personal dispute, with a suspect currently at large.

Medak: A migrant worker was murdered by unidentified assailants who stabbed him multiple times at Rayarao Cheruvu on the outskirts of Narsapur town. Locals found the victim lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police.

The victim was identified as Farooq Ansari, 34, a native of Uttar Pradesh. Police teams led by DSP J Narendar Goud and Inspector A Jan Reddy inspected the scene and found nine stab wounds on his body.


Ansari’s wife Sanman told the police she suspected his friend Shabbar, stating that Ansari allegedly had an affair with the suspect’s wife. Police have registered a case and shifted the body to the government hospital in Narsapur for postmortem.

The Narsapur police have launched a hunt for the suspect.
