Minister observes ‘Palle Nidra’, spends night in Jagtial village

Dayakar Rao along with local MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar slept in the village on Monday night

Jagitial: Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao stayed in Habsipur of Jagitial rural mandal on Monday night. As part of the ongoing Palle Pragathi programme, the Minister, who was here to take part in the programme, observed Palle Nidra in Habsipur. Dayakar Rao along with local MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar slept in the village on Monday night.

On Tuesday morning, the Minister toured the village. He interacted with the villagers and asked problems which they have been facing in the village. Later, he participated in grama sabha held at the gram panchayat office.

The Minister said that he toured the nook and corner of the village and works were still pending. Stating that the village was not in number one in Palle Pragathi works, small issues remained unsolved. A number of old houses were there in the SC colony. It was not his opinion to demolish old houses, but people should keep their houses clean, he advised.
