Hyderabad: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday appealed to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) employees to call off their protests, assuring that the government is positively considering their demands.

He said the government under Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has taken several measures to strengthen the RTC, including implementing a 21 per cent pay scale hike, approving over 3,000 posts, clearing pending dues and purchasing new buses.

Stating that funds under the Maha Lakshmi scheme are being released regularly, the minister urged employees to avoid agitations and ensure uninterrupted services to citizens.
