Hyderabad: The Ministry of Home Affairs has forwarded a complaint against the Commissioner, Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), AV Ranganath, to the Telangana Chief Secretary, for necessary action.
On Friday, a copy of the official communication was circulated on social media.
Under Secretary, Sanjeev Kumar forwarded a complaint to the Telangana Chief Secretary, a public grievance No: MINHA/E/2026//0019303 dated 06/05/2026 of Aedla Sudhaker Reddy against AV Ranganath, IPS, for appropriate action as deemed fit.
The HYDRAA Commissioner posted a copy of the official communication in HYDRAA’s official media WhatsApp group on Friday.
Responding to the communication, the HYDRAA Commissioner said Aedla Sudhakar Reddy, who is allegedly trying to grab Bathukamma kunta, sent a complaint against me that I had violated conduct rules as I had made public the evidence or satellite data on Bathukamma kunta while it was under the court’s purview, to the Government of India’.
MHA routinely sends such public complaints to the State government for ‘appropriate action as deemed fit.’ A copy gets marked to the petitioner in the process, he said.
“They circulate such copy in the media / social media as if some action is being contemplated. These are the routine acts and old techniques of litigant criminals who try to defame the AIS officers who come in the way of their wrongdoings”, he added.
