Hyderabad: A bag containing 20 live bullets belonging to a constable went missing on Sunday morning. However, it was traced and handed back.
According to information available, a constable working with Armed Reserve was on his way back from Central Prison Chanchalguda to the AR Headquarters and had kept the pouch containing the bullets in a bag.
He was going on a motorcycle when the bag slid at Chatta Bazaar and had fell down on the road.
A person who was going on a bicycle noticed it and took it away.
After the policeman noticed the bag missing he immediately approached the police who after verifying the footage of the closed circuit television camera tracked down the person identified as Ismail. The bag was recovered from him.
Senior police officers were tight lipped over the incident.
