Mancherial: Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnaiah unveiled a book titled ‘The Flying Rainbow,’ a compilation of 100 poems penned by a Class X student Shravan Kumar Lingampalli belonging to Telangana Social Welfare Residential Centre of Excellence (TSWR CoE) on the premises of the institution in Bellampalli on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Chinnaiah was all praise for Shravan Kumar for producing fine work of poetry at the age of 15. He predicted that the student would become an outstanding literary person in the future. He opined that bringing out a book at the teenage was a laudable effort, with the help of Dr Sandhya Deepti.
The MLA patted the teaching staff of the institute for molding talented students. He stated that principal of the centre Inala Saidulu was the driving force of the centre. He said that teachers were encouraging students to hone their innate skills even as Covid-19 induced lockdown crippled education sector. He assured all support for the growth of the institution.
Saidulu informed that Shravan Kumar’s poems published in an e-book were being sold on e-commerce platform Amazon. He stated that literary works by not only Shravan, but many others would be published if donors extend monetary support. He expressed gratitude to the legislator for gracing the occasion and giving assurance to develop the centre. District Zilla Parishad vice-chairperson Thongala Satyanarayana, Bellampalli Mandal Parishad president Gomasa Srinivas, vice-principal Kota Raj Kumar, teachers Datta Prasad, Pramod Kumar, Shravika, Ponnam Srinivas and many others were present.
