Karimnagar: Choppadandi MLA Sunke Ravishankar promised to develop the constituency on all fronts and asked the public not to believe in the wrong propaganda spread by the opposition parties.
The MLA, along with local public representatives and officials, visited the site of the proposed BT road from Burugupalli to Kondayapalli at a cost of Rs 1.32 crore on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Shankar said efforts are on to develop all roads in the constituency. Besides roads, the constituency will be developed on all fronts.
When he visited Kondayapalli as part of the election campaign in 2018, villagers asked him to lay a road from Kondayapalli to Burugupalli, he said, adding that he had assured the locals that he would fulfill their demand if he was elected in the polls.
“After I was elected as MLA, I brought the issue to the notice of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and he sanctioned Rs 1.32 crore for the BT road,” he said, adding that officials were surveying the road. Works will start nce the tender process is completed, he added.
