MLA Vinay Bhaskar hands over Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to beneficiaries

The MLA urged the people to plant saplings on large scale by participating in the ‘Mukkoti Vruksharchana’ marking KTR's birthday on July 24

Warangal Urban: Government Chief Whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar handed over cheques worth Rs 75 lakh to 72 beneficiaries of the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes under Kazipet mandal here, on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Telangana was the only State in the country that was providing financial assistance to the poor to help them perform the marriages of their daughters.

“The government is going to issue new ration cards to all the eligible people from July 26,” he said, adding that 1,500 people would get ration cards in his constituency. The MLA urged the people to plant saplings on large scale by participating in the ‘Mukkoti Vruksharchana’ marking TRS working president and IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s birthday on July 24. He has also distributed saplings to the beneficiaries of the Kalyana Lakshmi and Shadi Mubarak schemes and appealed to them to plant and raise them.

“People should also participate in the ‘GiftASmile’ initiative to help the needy,” the MLA added. Later, he released posters related to the Mukkoti Vruksharchana at his camp office in Hanamkonda. KUDA chairman Marri Yadava Reddy and other TRS leaders were present at the programme.
