Hyderabad: MLC K Kavitha on Sunday said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao does not tolerate crimes against women and was taking all measures to ensure their safety. She promised that all steps would be taken to ensure that the accused are punished as per law and justice is done to Purre Mamatha who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Nyavanandi of Sirikonda mandal in Nizamabad district.
The members of the victim’s family along with the members of Yadav community called on the MLC at her residence in Hyderabad on Sunday, seeking her intervention in getting justice to the deceased Mamatha. Responding to their requests, MLC Kavitha spoke to Nizamabad police commissioner Kartikeya over telephone and enquired about the reasons for delay in the case investigation. She urged him to expedite the investigation and personally monitor the case to nab the persons responsible for death of Mamatha.
