Karimnagar: 10 candidates are in the fray for two Karimnagar district Local Authorities’ MLC constituencies as 14 aspirants withdrew their nominations on Friday.
A total of 27 aspirants including two TRS candidates Thaniparthi Bhanu Prasad Rao, L Ramana filed nominations to contest in two Karimnagar LAC MLC constituencies. 24 candidates got eligibility to contest in the polls as the nominations of three aspirants were rejected in the scrutiny held on November 24. Finally, ten aspirants are in the fray as 14 candidates withdrew their nominations.
Two TRS candidates L Ramana and Thaniparthy Bhanu Prasad Rao, and eight independents including Sardar Ravinder Singh, Sarabudla Prabhakar Reddy, Are Rajendar, Enumula Satyanarayana, Adla Jogi Reddy, Kolluri Gangadhar, Masarti Ramesh, and Munigala Vijayalaxmi are in the fray.
Annaram Srinivas, Siralapu Sathaiah, Bandam Vasantha Reddy, Chand Pasha Mohammad, Myakala Srinivas, Venu Madasu, Ganesh Myakala, Gangadhara Shankaraiah, Cheekatla Rajashkar, Nalmachu Ramakrishna, Muddam Thirupathi, Bommaraveni Thirupathi, Thirupathi Poosala and Puram Rajesham withdrew their nominations.
