Followers of V Narender Reddy reportedly distributing Rs 1,000 each at a private school in Naspur mandal
Mancherial: Followers of Medak-Karimnagar-Nizamabad-Adilabad MLC graduate constituency candidate V Narender Reddy reportedly influenced electors by distributing Rs 1,000 each at a private school in Naspur mandal centre violating norms of elections on Wednesday.
The followers of Narender Reddy fielded by the ruling Congress party, including teachers and the staffers of Little Robos Play School tried to influence the electors by giving the money as a bribe. They, however, fled the spot after noticing the arrival of the media persons.
Naspur Inspector A Ashok said that no complaint was lodged against the followers. A mobile surveillance team was patrolling in Naspur to curb illegal practices to lure voters, he stated.
