Hyderabad: Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology (MLRIT) defeated Nizam College 29-18 to emerge champions in the national level inter-college kabaddi championship at its campus in city on Sunday.

The two-day event saw 24 teams vying for the top honours. The hosts had a good outing as they outplayed Nizam College in the summit clash. Later, Marri Rajashekar Reddy, TRS Malkajgiri constituency in charge and secretary of MLRIT, presented the trophy to victorious team.
