Hyderabad: MLR Institute of Technology (MLRIT) marked National Sports Day by inaugurating its newly developed football ground, athletics track, and basketball and volleyball courts.
MLR Group chairman Marri Laxman Reddy, 81, emphasized the importance of fitness and continues to inspire with his daily swimming and cycling routine.
Marri Rajashekar Reddy, MLA from Malkajgiri, pledged continued support for sports by offering 30 free seats annually to talented athletes, ensuring they receive both quality education and professional training.
MP E Rajender praised the leadership of Marri Laxman Reddy and Marri Rajashekar Reddy for building world-class sports infrastructure at MLRIT.
Sports officials Ravula Sridhar Reddy and GP Phalguna also attended the event, adding further significance, according to a press release.
