MMC focuses on basic amenities in Uppal Bagayat and Ramanthapur Bagayat areas
MMC Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy reviewed civic works in Uppal Baghayat and Ramanthapur, directing officials to expedite road works, repair streetlights, prepare stormwater drain proposals and immediately clear construction and demolition waste near the Devender Nagar nala.
Hyderabad: Commissioner, Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) T Vinay Krishna Reddy on Thursday visited Uppal Bhagayat and Ramanthapur Bagayat areas and reviewed development works, sanitation management, town planning, revenue operations and urban biodiversity initiatives.
He directed the engineering officials to expedite the completion of CC road construction works and sought immediate repairs for streetlights in Uppal Bhagayath Phase-II.
The Commissioner directed the officials to prepare comprehensive proposals for constructing a stormwater drain from Amberpet Sewarage Treatment Plant (STP) to the Uppal Bhagayath D-Mart.
MMC officials also proposed to install a welcome arch titled ‘Welcome to Uppal – MMC’ near the Amberpet STP.
He noticed accumulation of construction and demolition (C&D) waste in the vicinity of the Devender Nagar nala, and asked the officials to immediately clear it in the vicinity of the Devender Nagar nala.
