MMC to prepare blueprint for traffic, road safety improvements at Sangeet Junction in Secunderabad

The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) will prepare a blueprint to improve traffic movement and road safety at Secunderabad's busy Sangeet Junction. During an inspection, the Commissioner directed officials to examine road-widening possibilities, a free left turn and other measures to ease congestion.

Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) will prepare a blueprint to improve traffic movement and road safety at Sangeet Junction, one of Secunderabad’s busiest junctions.

MMC Commissioner T Vinay Krishna Reddy visited the junction on Friday and reviewed proposed works to reduce congestion and ease traffic flow. He asked officials to assess ground-level requirements, including the feasibility of providing a free left turn and widening the road where possible. He also sought measures to improve road safety and commuter convenience.

At Bowenpally Circle, the Commissioner directed officials to improve traffic movement and address road encroachments. He later inspected the road beneath Fatehnagar flyover, including encroachments on one side of the road, and instructed Town Planning and other officials to inspect the site and act as per rules to prevent obstruction and keep the road accessible.
