Moderate to heavy rains in erstwhile Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Erstwhile Karimnagar district experienced moderate to heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours, with Malliala of Illandakunta mandal recording the highest rainfall of 112.8 mm. Jammikunta recorded 110.8 mm followed by Veenavanka-101.8 mm, Kothapalli-Dharmaram-94.3 mm, Kothagattu-77.8 mm and Tadikal-59.5 mm in Karimnagar district. Karimnagar: Erstwhile Karimnagar district experienced moderate to heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours, with Malliala of Illandakunta mandal recording the highest rainfall of 112.8 mm. Jammikunta recorded 110.8 mm followed by Veenavanka-101.8 mm, Kothapalli-Dharmaram-94.3 mm, Kothagattu-77.8 mm and Tadikal-59.5 mm in Karimnagar district.

While Gangipalli received 35.5 mm, Karimnagar town got-32.6, Chigurumamidi-31.0, and Durshad-28.6 mm.


In Rajanna-Sircilla, Nampalli got 83.8 mm, Ellanthakunta-57.3, Namapur-44.5, and Sircilla town 30.8 mm. Jaina, Dharmapuri mandal of Jagtial district got 34.3 mm rainfall.

Some areas in the district continued to experience rain including Mallaram (Rajanna-Sircilla)-65.8 mm, Velgatur (Jagtial)-48.3, Dharmaram (Peddapalli)-45.0, Nampally-43.0, Marthanpeta (Rajanna-Sircilla)- 26.5, Pegadapalli (Jagitial)-24.0, Sircilla town-24.0, Sirikonda (Jagtial) 19.0, Nizamabad-12.0, Nerella-11.8 (Rajanna-Sircilla), Thirumalapur-10.0 and Gollapalli-9.0 mm of Jagtial district.
