Mohan Babu charged with attempt to murder for attacking video journalist
The police had earlier registered a case under 188 of BNS Act and after seeking legal opinion and based on medical reports of the injured person altered the case to 109 (attempt to murder) of BNS
Hyderabad: The Pahadishareef police invoked attempt to murder charges against actor Mohan Babu for his alleged attack on a video journalist on Tuesday night at his residence at Jalpally.
The police had earlier registered a case under 188 of BNS Act and after seeking legal opinion and based on medical reports of the injured person altered the case to 109 (attempt to murder) of BNS.

During the ongoing issues in Mohan Babu’s family the reporters were covering the issue on Tuesday. In the late evening the victim went inside along with Manchu Manoj son of Mohan Babu when the actor snatched the mike of the reporter and hit on the head. The injured was rushed to hospital at Shamshabad for treatment.
