Medak: A 10-year-old girl was injured after being attacked by a monkey while playing with her friends on the premises of her house at Chandra Bhavan Colony in Medak town on Sunday.
The monkey pounced without any provocation, while another monkey that approached did not attack. The girl managed to run to safety but sustained bleeding injuries on her right ankle.
She was shifted to the government hospital in Medak for treatment. A CCTV camera captured the incident, and the video has since gone viral on social media.
