Hyderabad: A motorist died after hitting a buffalo at Hayathnagar on the city outskirts on Friday night.
According to police, N Dasharath, a waiter at a hotel, was going home on his motorcycle when he hit a stray buffalo on the Hayathnagar main road on Friday. He was rushed to hospital where he died while undergoing treatment early on Saturday.
In a separate case, a businessman M Shivanand (36) of Ashoknagar died allegedly by suicide after jumping in front of a train at Jamia Osmania railway station on Friday night. Shivanand, according to his relatives, was depressed over family issues. The Government Railway Police, Kacheguda, registered a case and are investigating.
