Moving car catches fire near Hyderabad High Court

A moving car caught fire near the Hyderabad High Court after smoke was seen coming from its engine. The driver escaped safely before flames spread. Fire officials quickly doused the blaze, which is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit.

Hyderabad: A moving car caught fire near the High Court in the Old City on Tuesday.

According to the fire officials, the car was proceeding on the road near the gate number 7 of the High Court when the driver noticed smoke coming from the engine. He stopped the car on the roadside and got out. Within seconds, fire emanated from the engine.


On information, a fire tender from the High Court fire station reached the spot and doused the fire. It is suspected that the fire started due to a short circuit.
