Moving coal-laden truck catches fire in Hyderabad

The truck loaded with coal bags was proceeding from Hyderabad towards Rajendranagar

Moving coal-laden truck catches fire in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The driver and cleaner of a coal-laden truck escaped unhurt when the moving vehicle caught fire near the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University at Rajendranagar here in the early hours of Wednesday.

The truck loaded with coal bags was proceeding from Hyderabad towards Rajendranagar. When it reached near the university, the driver noticed smoke from the coal load and immediately stopped the vehicle.


He, along with the cleaner then jumped out of the cabin and doused the fire with the help of locals. On receiving information, the Rajendranagar police reached the spot and moved the truck aside and cleared the traffic.
