Adilabad: Mukhra (K) village in Ichoda mandal has earned the distinction of getting featured on Sujal Swachh Sangraha, a Union government website, for achieving the status of 100 percent open defecation-free and achievements on several other fronts.

“ODF Plus village of Telangana under Palle Pragathi Programme, Mukhra-K village in Adilabad District of Telangana State is a prototype for a Clean and Green village covering all the ODF plus components and much more – 100% source segregation and door to door collection, 100% sale of compost, 100% grey water coverage through soak pits, established village Nature Park, modern crematorium, its own nursery and 100% functional household tap connection,” the site remarked about the village.
