Hyderabad: Veteran actor Murali Mohan on Thursday released the energetic mass song ‘Kallu Kottu Kada’ from the upcoming crime drama Mutton Soup. The film, directed by Ramachandra Vattikuti, is presented by Ramakrishna Vattikuti under the banners of Alukka Studios, Sri Varahi Arts, and Bhavishya Vihar Chithralu (BVC). Raman and Varsha Vishwanath play the lead roles.
The movie, carrying the tagline “Witness the Real Crime”, is produced by Mallikharjuna Elika (Gopal), Ramakrishna Sanapala and Arun Chandra Vattikuti. Its title poster, motion poster and earlier songs have already gone viral on social media. The recently released devotional track ‘Hara Hara Shankara’, launched by Tanikella Bharani, garnered wide appreciation, and the team expects the same response for this latest number.
Penned by Suranna, sung by Suranna, Relare Rela Gopal and Sujatha Vasu, with music by Venky Veena, the new song has been choreographed by Satya Master. The lyrical video, unveiled on Thursday, has been positioned as a key highlight of the film.
Speaking on the occasion, Murali Mohan said he was impressed with the youthful team and their efforts. “The title Mutton Soup is very interesting. Suranna has given a powerful song and folk numbers like this are trending. I wish the team huge success,” he said.
Director Ramachandra Vattikuti thanked Murali Mohan, senior journalist Prabhu, executive producer Parvataneni Rambabu and producers for their support. Producers Mallikharjuna Elika and Ramakrishna Sanapala said the encouragement from senior artistes motivates small-scale filmmakers like them to take bold projects forward.
Hero Raman expressed confidence that the film would win over audiences, while lyricist Suranna said writing and performing the song was a rewarding experience. Choreographer Satya Master and actor Govind Srinivas also shared their excitement about the project.
The makers said the film has shaped up well and is gearing up for release soon.
