Musical fountain inaugurated at Lakaram Tank
The trial run of a colourful dancing fountain in Lakaram tank in Khammam was conducted on Tuesday
Khammam: A newest attraction has come up at Lakaram Tank here much to the pleasure of the citizens.
Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar and along with officials inaugurated the colourful dancing fountain in Lakaram tank in Khammam on Wednesday.
Speaking to Telangana Today on Wednesday the Minister said the dancing-musical fountain will be an added attraction at Lakaram tank where facilities like open gym, walking track, rope cycling and parks have already been developed on the tank bund.
In addition to that a cable-stayed suspension bridge is under construction. The bridge is being constructed with an expenditure of Rs 8 crore by Telangana Tourism Development Department with the municipal funds, he said.
The project has been initiated by Ajay Kumar on the lines of suspension bridges at Laknavaram in erstwhile Warangal district, Komati Cheruvu in Siddipet district and at Durgam Cheruvu in Hyderabad.
