‘My GHMC on WhatsApp’: New helpline launched for debris and garbage complaints
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has launched a WhatsApp-based complaint service called 'My GHMC on WhatsApp', enabling citizens to report issues such as overflowing bins, construction debris, and garbage dumped at risk-prone spots.
Hyderabad: The GHMC on Friday launched a new mobile WhatsApp service titled ‘My GHMC on WhatsApp’ to register complaints related to the dumping of construction debris and overflowing garbage bins and garbage dumped at vulnerable points.
With this initiative, a complainant need not visit any GHMC office and instead can just send a WhatsApp message to the number 8125966586, attaching photos and sharing the location.
