Hyderabad: Akkineni Nagarjuna has found a loyal group of admirers in Japan, where fans have started addressing him as “Nag-Sama,” a term that reflects respect and affection.

In Japanese culture, the suffix “Sama” is used for people held in high regard, such as gods, royalty, or individuals of great stature. The choice of this title by Japanese fans highlights the esteem in which Nagarjuna is held beyond Indian shores.
