Hyderabad: Actor Naga Chaitanya will be seen as a courageous and inquisitive journalist in an upcoming webseries that harps on the subject of time travel. A makeover he never tried earlier, Chay is learnt to have been preparing for the role seriously. Audiences have gotten to see him in the shades of lover boy, a college student, most recently as a reckless rural youth from his recent flick ‘Bangarrau’.
The web series is likely to deal with the subject of time travel. Touted to be a thriller, it is being directed by Vikram Kumar who earlier made the movie ’24’ It will feature Priya Bhavani Shankar in the female lead role. It is learnt that the web series has three seasons and each one has eight to 10 episodes. The untitled web series is likely to start soon after Chay and Vikram complete their ongoing project titled ‘Thank You’.
Chay has scored back-to-back hits first with ‘Love Story’ and later with ‘Bangarraju’. A day ago, the actor was seen in the news following a rumour that was circulating on social media. It was reported in the media that it was Samantha who first initiated the legal process for divorce. Subsequently, his father Nagarjuna slammed the reports that surfaced in the media and termed them baseless.
