Nalgonda: BJP State president Bandi Sanjay on Monday alleged that Congress candidate K Jana Reddy and TRS had colluded to defeat the BJP in the by-election to Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency.

Speaking during a roadshow at Gurrampode in the constituency, he claimed Jana Reddy would join the TRS if he won the by-election. “Hence, voting for Congress would be nothing but voting for TRS,” he added.

He said Jana Reddy, who won seven times as MLA, took one week to decide whether he should contest the by-poll this time.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Vijayashanthi, during a roadshow at Nellikallu in Tirumalgiri (Sagar) mandal, alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had failed to fulfill the promise to make a Dalit the Chief Minister of Telangana after State formation.
