Nagarkurnool: Narrow escape for 60 passengers as bus loses control on Umamaheswara Swamy temple ghat road

Nagarkurnool: About 60 passengers travelling in a TSRTC bus had a narrow escape when the bus which they travelling in lost control on the Umamaheswara Swamy temple ghat road in Achampet mandal limits on Saturday.
The incident occurred when the bus was heading towards Achampet from the Umamaheswara Swamy temple. While travelling down the hillock, the bus suddenly lost control and slipped towards the gorge side.
However, the bus driver managed to regain control and stopped the bus. All the passengers heaved a sigh of relief. The reasons behind the bus losing control are not known yet and more details are awaited.
Meanwhile, one person died and a few others sustained severe injuries when three cars were involved in an accident on the Srisailam Highway at Hajipur under Achampet mandal in the district. The injured have been shifted to Achampet area hospital. More details are awaited.
