Nagoba Jatara: Minister vows to resolve tribal land issues

Endowments Minister Konda Surekha assured tribal communities that the government is committed to resolving challenges related to podu cultivation and forest lands. Speaking at a Praja Darbar during the Nagoba Jatara in Keslapur, she emphasised the government’s determination to address tribal concerns.

Adilabad: Endowments Minister Konda Surekha said the government was determined to address challenges faced by tribal communities.

Participating in a Praja Darbar held as part of the ongoing five-day Nagoba Jatara at Keslapur village on Thursday, she said the government would resolve issues relating to Podu lands and forest lands.

Earlier, the minister visited the shrine and performed special prayers. She was accompanied by Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju and Adilabad MLA Payal Shankar. Collector Rajarshi Shah, SP Akhil Mahajan, DFO Prashanth Patil and leaders of the tribal communities were present.
