Amaravati: Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy on Sunday alleged that former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and company had terrorised the Dalits and snatched away their lands and did real estate business through their men. Releasing a video on the irregularities committed by the Telugu Desam Party leaders at a media conference here, he said both Chandrababu and his minister P Narayana had forcibly taken away lands from farmers and there was ample evidence that irregularities were committed in Amaravati lands.

“They have given the list of assigned lands to realtors; created terror among dalits according to a plan and after the realtors got the list of lands, they announced the location of the new capital. The realtors purchased lands from the dalits and entered the names given by Chandrababu into the list to change government records. The officials have no business to take away the lands belonging to dalits.

I demand their arrest and a thorough probe by the CID into the Amaravati land irregularities,” he said.

Ramakrishna Reddy said that the list of lands reached the then ministers even before the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) was constituted and not a single record was found at Tullur. They had plotted to annex 4,000 acres of land then and both Chandrababu and Narayana were the culprits, he alleged.
