Nalgonda Congress leader Palle Ravi joins TRS

Ravi Kumar was among those trying for a chance as the Congress candidate for the Munugode by-poll.

Nalgonda: Many political leaders from other parties are continuing to join the ruling TRS (BRS) party. In a major blow to the Congress on Saturday, especially ahead of the Munugode bypoll, party leaders Palle Ravi Kumar Goud and his wife Kalyani joined the TRS (BRS) on Saturday.

Palle Ravi Kumar was one among the ticket aspirants from Congress to contest the bypoll. Kalyani is a sitting Mandal Praja Parishad (MPP) representative in Nalgonda district. TRS Working president and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao welcomed Ravi Kumar Goud and Kalyani into the party fold. He recalled that Ravi Kumar Goud was closely associated with the TRS (BRS) since the separate State agitation.

Expressing happiness over Ravi Kumar Goud joining the TRS (BRS), Rao further assured that the party would provide more opportunities to him in the future. Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud, MLC Karne Prabhakar, former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and other leaders were present on the occasion.
