Nalgonda: Tadaka Kalpana Memorial Trust has extended Rs one lakh to the Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University (Anneparthy) for the introduction of gold medal to a meritorious student in Master of social work (MSW) courses.
The managing trustee Tadaka Yadagiri has handed over a cheque of Rs one lakh to the university Vice Chancellor Prof. Ch Gopal Reddy in his chamber on the university campus. The university vice chancellor appreciated the trust for its decision to extend financial help for the introduction of a gold medal in MSW course. There was a need to create healthy competition among the students through such initiative, he added.
Yadagiri told that Kalpana had pursued MSW course. In memory of Kalpana, a trust was set up to take up social service activities.
